Every month, Make Great Plays honors students who build bridges in their schools and communities, especially within immigrant communities. The Bridge Builder Badge Initiative recognizes students who promote inclusion, unity, resilience and compassion.

Nominate. Know a student who makes others feel welcome, stands up for a classmate, or keeps going through a hard time? Anyone can nominate them. Submit a nomination

Select. Our student review committee reads every nomination and chooses recipients in each of our five badge categories.

Award. Winners receive a Bridge Builder Badge and are recognized at their school assembly.

Since the program began, we have awarded 550+ badges to students at Title 1 schools in Ventura County and low-income schools in Chennai, India.
