Immigrant families often face uncertainty, discrimination, and barriers to opportunity — while the expanding digital divide leaves many behind in our fast-changing, tech-driven world.

My team and I believe that no one should be defined by their immigration status or socio-economic background.
Through Make Great Plays, we’re determined to close that gap — empowering students to learn, lead, and connect.

The Bridge Builder Badge initiative was born from that vision: to recognize students who rise above challenges with kindness, compassion, and strength. Whether they shine in sports, academics, or simple acts of everyday courage — these students remind us what it means to build bridges, not walls.

Each Bridge Builder Badge is more than an award — it’s a beacon of light.
It stands for the belief that diversity makes us stronger, that every voice matters, and that every act of empathy can spark change.
It celebrates the transformative power within every individual.

The Bridge Builder Badge Program recognizes students who make a difference in their schools and communities.
Our website hosts five badge categories, each symbolizing a unique strength:

• 🧡 Inclusion Hero: For acts of kindness and acceptance that bring people together.

• 💫 Unity Champion: For promoting teamwork, equality, and inclusivity.

• 🌍 Global Ambassador: For demonstrating global awareness and cross-cultural understanding.

• 🌈 Hope Maker: For inspiring positivity and courage in others.

• 🏅 Path Finder: For outstanding academic or athletic achievements despite challenges.
  
  Nomination Process:
  Anyone can nominate a student — or students can self-nominate — by sharing how they’ve embodied one of the badge values.

  Selection:
  Our MGP review team evaluates nominations and selects recipients.
  Winners receive a digital badge and certificate of recognition via email.

  Motivation & Rewards:
  To keep the spirit alive, participants who collect 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, or 100 badges unlock special rewards — from Disney tickets and Amazon gift cards to exclusive merchandise and event invitations.
